Privacy policy
The short version
Your diagram code is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. We do not have accounts, we do not store your diagrams, and share links carry the diagram inside the URL itself rather than on a server.
What stays on your device
- Diagram code — rendered by your browser, never sent to us.
- Local history — recent diagrams are saved in your browser's IndexedDB so you can restore them. Clearing history in the app or your browser removes them permanently.
- Preferences — theme, canvas background and export settings are stored in localStorage.
Share links
Share links encode the diagram data into the URL fragment-free path using lossless compression. Opening a share link is a direct, point-to-point exchange between people — the diagram data is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. Anyone with the link can read the diagram, so treat share links like photos: only send them to people you trust.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand aggregate usage (which pages are visited, which features are used). GA4 receives pseudonymous identifiers such as a client ID stored in cookies. We do not send your diagram code to Google Analytics.
Advertising
This site may display advertising to keep the tool free. When advertising is active:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.
- The diagram editor area never shows advertising — that is a permanent product commitment.
Service workers
We use a service worker to cache the app shell and content pages so the editor works offline. The cache lives on your device and contains only this site's own files.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above. Material changes to advertising or analytics will be announced on this page before they take effect.
